 I am as passionate about my home made products as I am about Reiki. In fact there is nothing I'd rather be doing than devoting my time to one or the other. However I do have other obligations as well, so if you know that you will be placing a large order please let me know in advance so that I can have the necessary inventory for your order and still have product for regular customer needs.

I make creams, moisturizer, lotions, shampoo and conditioners as they are ordered to maintain maximum freshness so if you look in the online shop you won't see an inventory tally like you will with the soaps and lip balms.

Soaps need to cure for 6-8 weeks, you can see what I have on hand to sell. 

I also make up lip balms to have on hand.

                             ***A note on Preservatives***

They have gotten a pretty bad rap in the natural community. When I started making my own products I wasn't going to use any. I had been listening to all the hype about them. But as I researched and learned more I realized that if a product has water in it it will grow bacteria if there is no preservative present. Grapefruit seed extract and vitamin e do nothing to stop bacterial growth. So I started looking for a preservative I felt good about using..

I have finally found a natural preservative that works well and that I feel good about It's a really big deal!

I love the skin and hair care products I make, The only things I buy are deodorant and toothpaste. I may try making my own deodorant, I don't think I'm going to try toothpaste, I'm happy buying Toms. That's the deodorant I use for now too.

 

I make my products with quality ingredients and am always looking ingredients that will enhance the products performance and also score low on the Skin Deep database. It takes a lot of hours researching (not my favorite part of the job, but necessary) to find that just right ingredient (say for replacing silicones) and when I do -  it's worth it.
